2020 has been quite the year and there is no better time to shift your mindset physically and mentally to get yourself back to life’s great pleasures.

The Knox Leisureworks Transition Challenge is a fantastic opportunity to continue or ramp up your physical activity and become accountable for yourself through different motivating avenues. This transition challenge has been established as a self-motivating platform which will allow you to put in as much effort to keep you physically active and your mind mentally stimulated.

What does the challenge consist of?

The challenge will consist of three main tiers that are targeted to keep active and stimulated as we gear out of lockdown.

  • Physical - target daily and weekly challenges that participants can partake in via the Home Fitness Network
  • Mental - participants to take time out of their day to focus and concentrate on self-importance – which some days might escape us
  • Social – become a part of an active community by joining an exclusive Facebook group, allowing participants to interact and share experiences and gain some well needed social interaction with the local community.

What is involved in the challenge?

  • Free access to the Home Fitness Network which includes 25+ live group fitness classes, 100+ workouts and a nutrition portal (over 150 meal plans and hundreds of recipes)
  • Weekly workout challenges which will focus on strength and tone, weight loss and wellness.
  • ‘Daily Wins’ which will focus on participants completing activities that are a part of everyday routines. Some activities are common knowledge whilst other activities might challenge and get participants out of their comfort zone.
  • Social interaction via the Facebook group to interact with the community and motivate other participants through ideas and shared experiences.

When will it begin?

The challenge will begin on Monday 5th October but we recommend to be in the group by Sunday so you can see what is ahead for the week to prepare correctly.
 

What do I need?

A self-motivating mindset – the more involvement the better the transition.
