What the frog!?

Help us name the frog slide!

Introducing YOUR chance to create history at Knox Leisureworks - we’d like to give the frog slide a name and would like to invite you to help us find the perfect one!

In celebration for the return of a completely refurbished frog slide and leisure play, we’re excited to announce that for the first time in Knox Leisureworks history we’re going to give the frog a name... and we're going to need your help :)

We sure hope that your ideas on what to name the frog slide are almost as good as our frog jokes! It's time to get the creative side of your brain fired up and help us name the frog!

What is the frog slide?

The frog slide is an iconic aquatic attraction and family favorite used by many children within our community over a long period of time. Recently, the frog slide was completely refurbished – including repairs to internal water jets, improvements on the slide structure and an exciting brand-new coat of paint to top it off. It is now ready to be released back into the wild at the Knox Leisureworks aqua play zone for all children for many years to come!
Whether you’re a regular Knox Leisureworks swimmer or are interested in coming for the first time – you are more than welcome to help join in to find the perfect name for the frog slide!
 

How does the competition work?

Knox Leisureworks recognises that the frog slide is a part of our community and as such, we want to have as many people within our community involved in deciding the name. The 'What The Frog?!' competition will take place over the course of three exciting steps. 

Step One

Enter your suggestions to name the frog! Entries will be open until 12:00pm Midnight Sunday the 6th of December.

Nominations are closed for step one - Step Two is now open!

Step Two

All entries will be posted available on the Knox Leisureworks complete with the first name of who made the suggestion. During this step, anybody in our community will be able to vote for the suggestion they think should be the clear winner!

Step Three

The top five suggestions will be submitted to a top-secret panel for review and selection! The winner will then be announced via social media.

Competition Prizes

The winner will also receive either their choice of a free 3 month membership/swimming lessons voucher at Knox Leisureworks (plus the Grand Prize obviously being the honour to name the slide!)

Unfortunately we don't have any other name suggestions we could come up with (which is why we need your help) but we do have another fantastic joke!

... okay we may not have great joke ideas or suggestions for names, however we do ask that you follow a few rules to help keep this competition a family friendly one...
 

Rules & Conditions

The 'Naming the frog slide' competition is a family friendly competition. As such, please observe the following rules and conditions:

• No suggestions that feature innappropriate language or offensive themes will be accepted
• Multiple offensive or innapropriate suggestions will result in a participant being made ineligible for the competition
• We understand there may be multiple suggestions of the same name. In the case of a duplicate suggestions entry, only the first entry will be accepted and displayed in step two of the competition
• There is no age limit on who can participate
• There are no limits on the number of entries a person can submit - however they must each be submitted individually
• When submitting an entry for a participant under the age of 16, parent/guardian contact details must be provided instead of child contact details. 
• Any winning participant will be contacted via the contact details provided in the registration form
