At Knox Leisureworks, "Access and Inclusion" lies at the heart of our facility. We are committed to creating an environment that welcomes and caters to people of all abilities, ensuring equal opportunities for participation and enjoyment.
We actively promote inclusive programming, events, and activities that cater to diverse populations, including people with disabilities, different cultural backgrounds, and varying ages. By prioritizing access and inclusion, we aim to provide a welcoming and supportive space that allows everyone to engage in healthy, active lifestyles, promoting well-being and a sense of community for all who visit Knox Leisureworks.

Access and Inclusion Swimming Lessons
Knox Leisureworks prides itself on providing aquatic programs to suit our diverse community, including opportunities to people with disabilities as well as people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Our access and inclusion swimming lessons are based on the GOswim program that promotes water safety and personal development. Classess aim to transition students into our more mainstream aquatic swimming lessons.
Our Educational Approach
We aim to provide support for anyone who requires additional assistance or modified programs that will enable them to participate. Programs will be planned, developed and implemented based on the needs of an individual group.
This program adopts an educational approach that provides aquatic outcomes to ensure access and inclusion everyone regardless of:
- Age
- Disability
- Chronic condition
- Culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (CALD)
